Frank Raines (left) Timothy Howard
Franklin Raines was Clinton’s former UMB Director, is a former CEO of Fannie May, was paid a total of $90 MILLION for his tenure at Fannie May, who was forced to resign due to a $6.3 billion accounting debacle he oversaw in 2004, and James Johnson former Vice-Chair of Fannie Mae and Managing Director of Lehman Brothers….. Raines and Johnson are the current economic advisors for Barack Obama. Raines was in charge when most of these high risk, sub prime rate loans were being given away; the primary catalyst to Fannie Mae’s collapse.
Yup it’s true. Details HERE and pay attention to the OFHEO report & summary.
Congress knew – Republicans tried to reform it twice and were stopped.
UPDATE: LOL – Obama Campaign Denies These Guys Worked On or Advised the Campaign…
This is hilarious, everyone knows these guys have been with Obama for months, the press has reported it for months. An Obama Campaign spokeman just said on The Fox Report with Shep Smith that these guys “don’t exist”. Is the elite media so in the tank that they won’t blast Obama for this obvious whopper?? We will see.
UPDATES: HERE and HERE.

UPDATE: Democrat talking heads on TV are already lying about the content of the emails.
It’s pretty sick and disturbing. It is a good reason to have a password that is hard to break.
There are places on the internet that only the most computer savvy people know about and that is where her emails were posted. I can confirm what other bloggers like Jawa Report and Michelle Malkin have said. There is nothing shocking in the emails and what they show is that the Palin’s are a normal family just like most any middle class family. The Sarah you see in public is the same one in private. She loves her God and family and friends and takes all that comes along with that seriously.
Ironically, Palin has been accused if routinely using private email accounts to bypass state regulators and anyone can see after this that the allegations seem baseless.
[UPDATE - Democrat talking heads on TV are already lying about the content of the emails saying that they show that Palin was using her private account to bypass accountability laws and use them for state business - such use of private accounts has to be repetative to be enforcable....they have no shame at all.
Gloria Allred was trying to push this on Greta Van Sustern. Greta was getting upset with Allred as Greta had made it clear that she knew such a charge is nonsense.]
No the IUSB Vision will not post them. However, if I were in the McCain campaign, I would take ownership of this issue and redact certain parts of the emails that wre leaked and just make them public. They show that Palin is the real deal and certainly is not someone who is “faking it” for traditional America. If I had any doubt’s about Palin’s authenticity before, I don’t now.
Michelle Malkin has more info on the scum that did this to Palin. I am confident the FBI will try to find who is responsible.

Guess where most of the oil is folks…. you guessed it, it’s within 50 miles of the shore line.
House Passes Bill To Expand Drilling, Fund Renewables
Republicans Say Measure Isn’t Enough
By Paul Kane
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, September 17, 2008; A10
The House approved a package of energy initiatives yesterday, including measures that would allow oil drilling as close as 50 miles off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and finance the long-term development of alternative energy sources.
In the first substantive votes since gasoline prices rose above $4 a gallon this summer, the House divided largely along party lines, 236 to 189, with most Republicans rejecting the Democratic-sponsored legislation because it would prohibit exploration of much of the known oil reserves closer to the coasts and in the Gulf of Mexico.

It’s like we told you:
DEMOCRATS want HIGHER gas PRICES (follow those three links to see the proof and to see Obama saying it).
Mort Kondrake, Editor of Roll Call Magazine, just said that this bill was designed to fail and blames Democrats. He commented on Brit Hume 8/17/2008

Lynn Rothschild
Lynn Forester De Rothschild is leaving the Democratic National Committee. She was a big fund raiser and contributor for the Democrats. The reason she gives is in her column HERE and we reported on this column earlier. Her column shows us what a master wordsmith she is. The state of mind she rails against is one that I understand perfectly so as a result I feel a certain kinship with her. When you read her column it becomes clear that this issue has bothered her for a long time, perhaps even years.
Her influence as an international mover and shaker is difficult to understate.
