Today’s Rasmussen Poll:
Sixty-two percent (62%) of Republicans back Israel’s decision to take military action against the Palestinians, but only half as many Democrats (31%) agree.
This is a knee jerk reaction based in a bias against Israel…and why do I say that:
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of those who say they are following news out of Gaza Very Closely support Israel’s military action, while 30% favor diplomacy.
Because those who are paying close attention clearly understand why military force is needed at this time and understand that decades of diplomacy have gotten no where to resolve the issue. Bigotry is often based in ignorance so it is no surprise that those who are the most against the Israeli action are also those who are most ignorant about it. Of course it is no secret that antisemitism is in fashion with the far left.
