This interview is a perfect example of what Ann is talking about. Conservatives with FACTS go on and what do they usually get, an argument, talked over and their points misrepresented on purpose to the audience. They get questions that are nothing more than thinly veiled attacks with a question mark at the end. Leftists go on and they usually get softball questions.
In the book Ann compares the questions asked Democrats with the questions and tone of the interviews of Republicans. She did it with NBC’s interviews, we did something similar with the ABC’s interviews of the candidates. It becomes even more obvious that ABC set out to do a hatchet job because the substantive parts of many of the answers Palin gave were edited out – HERE is the full transcript of the Palin interview.
