Concerns grow as in recent months there have been a string of antisemitic incidents at IU Bloomington.

Let us all hope and pray that Lauren is found safe.

UPDATE - Apparently she was walking home late after a social gathering about four blocks from her residence when she was last seen. There was a search today by a group of concerned citizens and there will be another search tomorrow. Use the Facebook page linked above for further updates.

UPDATE II – Police have a video, I suspect it is only a matter of time now before the boys in the video with her are identified – LINK.

 

UPDATE III – August 18. The case has gone cold, but Channel 6 News Indy reports:

Family members have pleaded with acquaintances of Spierer to come forward with information that could aid in the search and have said publicly in the recent past that they don’t believe some are being forthcoming. Friday’s statement reiterated that stance.

“There is no reason to think the people Lauren was last with wouldn’t do everything in their power to help us find her,” the statement read. “But, alas, there is deafening silence. “That silence compounds our frustration, our desperation and our grief in not having found Lauren.”

This lesson is over hyped and uses humorous sarcasm in order to keep you entertained while they educate you, but the substance is essentially spot on.

The video uses Jehmu Green as an example of a leftist who engages in naked propaganda techniques but is not very artful at it as she is a newcomer to the propaganda business. So who is Jehmu Greene? Here is her wikipedia entry – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehmu_Greene.

The group she founded with Gloria Steinem and Robin Morgan is the Women’s Media Center. Gloria Stienem is an early radical feminist who has pushed points of view like marriage is oppression, all sex is rape, and her academic theories are designed to push the male behavior out of young boys.

Take these examples from Robin Morgan’s Wikipedia entry:

Robin Morgan (born January 29, 1941) is a former child actor turned American radical feminist activist, writer, poet, and editor of Sisterhood is Powerful and Ms. Magazine.

In the late 1960s she was a founding member of radical feminist organizations such as New York Radical Women and W.I.T.C.H.. She also founded the Women’s Media Center.

Wikipedia quotes her as saying

• My white skin disgusts me. My passport disgusts me. They are the marks of an insufferable privilege bought at the price of others’ agony. If I could peel myself inside out I would be glad. If I could become part of the oppressed I would be free.^[2]

• In her book Going Too Far, she called for women to “fight for and create” a “gynocratic world” and “not ["reclaim"] … some false state of equality”.

 

Essentially this “Women’s Media Center” Jehmu Green was president of is a racialist organization that is profoundly anti-men. It does not get much more extreme than that. If you ever find yourself being invited on a TV talk show demand to know who you will be appearing with in advance. If they will not tell you do not accept the invitation. If you get sandbagged and they spring three people on to debate against you nicely explain that you were sandbagged by the network who asked you to come and as a result you did not prepare to debate such points so you could have been ready to have the best participation possible.

Bill O’Reilly resisted accepting this premise for a long time;  years even. But as the evidence mounted up it became hard to ignore.

The Democrats are the party of the status quo when it comes to Social Security and Medicare while the governments own numbers admit that these programs will go bankrupt and crash very soon. The reductions in spending discussed in the video were not real cuts at all, they were only reductions in Obama’s proposed budget, and even so it was not even a 1% cut in that budget proposal. The truth is that spending was higher this year than last year, so in reality there were no real cuts, yet the left was still upset.

One of the big problems with Medicare is that the bureaucracy is expensive and truly gargantuan. Billions of dollars go to fund those government jobs that should go to seniors care. The Democrats benefit in the short run and the long run by letting Medicare collapse. In the short run, Medicare not being reformed will mean countless thousands of government employees, will be paying Democrats and the government union dues which is used to finance Democrat political campaigns. Government employees make between 30% and 300% more than their private sector counterparts depending on the job field. That is right folks, Medicare funds are essentially being used to fund Democrat political campaigns.

In the long run, when Medicare explodes seniors will be forced into ObamaCare, which can ration care and push doctors into just “giving gramps the pain pill” kind of care. This is why the Democrats raided half a TRILLION DOLLARS of Medicare funds to pay for the ObamaCare implementation. The administration had moved to implement “death panels” like language but outrage forced them to delay implementation. The bottom line is that ObamaCare gives the President, or the HHS bureaucrat the regulatory authority to implement “death panel” like rationing with the stroke of a pen.

Palestinian Teens Admit Slaughtering Fogel Family “I’m proud of what I did”

Two Palestinian youths from the West Bank village of Awarta, arrested in April on suspicion of murdering five members of the Fogel family in Itamar, were charged with five counts of homicide at a military court on Sunday. The defendants, 17-yearold Hakim Awad and 18-yearold Amjad Awad, who are from the same clan, have confessed to stabbing and shooting two young brothers, their parents, and a three-month-old baby in the attack. “I don’t regret what I did, and would do it again,” Amjad Awad told reporters in court. “I’m proud of what I did and I’ll accept any punishment I get, even death, because I did it all for Palestine,” he added. The charge sheet detailed how the two saw two young brothers sleeping in their beds, 4-year-old Elad and 11- year-old Yoav, snuck into the home, and stabbed them both to death. They then entered the parents’ bedroom, where they launched a knife attack on Ehud and Ruth Fogel. The parents fought back, attempting to fend off the attackers. Ehud died of stab wounds and Ruth was shot dead by the attackers with a stolen M- 16 gun. The two then left the house, before hearing cries from three-month-old baby Hadas. Awoken by the attack, the baby lay in its crib in the parents’ bedroom. “They went back into the house and stabbed the baby to death to silence her cries,” a security source said following the arrests in April.

Eleven Year Olds Declare Intent to “Die for Allah” on Palestinian TV
