ABC News Get’s It Wrong In Palin Interview

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

We are going to go through ABC’s reporting tomorrow with a fine toothed comb and show just how fraudulent much of ABC’s reporting has been, but for now Michelle Malkin and her team at are all over some of the misquotes and rumors that ABC is still trying to apply to Palin.

ABC is trying to make Palin out to be some kind of zealot, in fact she is stating the very same message that Reagan, JFK, FDR, Eike, Lincoln and Washington have all made; and that is to not be so prideful as to think that God is on our side as if we can dictate what is the mind of God, but rather that we try to do what is right and just and pray that we are on God’s side.

Click HERE and take a look. Here is an excerpt:

Charlie Gibson had a chance to show that he could be fair, balanced, and P.D.S.-free with Sarah Palin’s first major MSM interview.

Looks like he blew it.

Taking quotes out of context.

Getting basic facts wrong.

Engaging in distortionary hype.

And the reason we should watch the rest of this hatchet job is…what exactly?

Also: Guess this is good preparation for the kind of neutral, objective questions we’ll get during the debates.

UPDATE: I am watching Brit Hume on Fox News and Fox is all over how ABC got this wrong. If only ABC had spent a few minutes doing some fact checking…. more tomarrow.

Elite Media Mum on Mega-Crowds at McCain/Palin Events

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

The elite media blows it a lot. They print rumors as fact, they get angles and “facts” from some blogs that have proved time and time again to get information just plain wrong like the DailyKOS. In the same process they don’t check blogs who consistently get it right over 99% of the time.

One of those bloggers who is right the vast majority of the time, well she is more than just a blogger, she is a media empire named Michelle Malkin who has become one of the most powerful and influential people in America.

Michelle has people everywhere and she had people at the McCain/Palin rally which had a crowd that was estimated at 23,000.

A picture speaks 1000 words:

For months we were repeatedly told by the media how Senator Obama attracted large crowds like this one, but since the convention was over most of what we have gotten is scandal and rumor mongering from the press that has been reported as fact, almost all of which has been proved false; much of which has been featured on this web site.

Here is what Michelle Malkin has to say:

The same Obamedia cultists in American newsrooms who didn’t miss an opportunity to tout The One’s ability to draw massive crowds are AWOL when it comes to showing America the massive crowds turning out for McCain-Palin. (Nothing on the front page of the WaPo website; no crowd shots included in the WaPo “Day in Photos” gallery. And, of course, zippo on the front page of the NYT website.)

While Michelle’s words seems a bit harsh. Bloggers and others who fact-check the elite media have grown so sick and tired of the elite media’s blatant bias and apparent contempt for the facts that from time to time that anger is going to surface. The most maddening thing is that most of the nonsense that we see so much in the elite media can be proved wrong by looking up some public records, looking at a piece of raw video on-line or can be found in local media coverage that takes just minutes to look up.

The Washington Post, Newsweek, ABC, NBC, etc have posted a great deal of “journalism” as fact that was already known and reported to be false or misleading. Is 2008 the year journalism died?

Chuck Norris Endorses

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

A fact from

Sarah Palin begins every day with a moment of silence for the political enemies buried in her yard.

Sarah Palin doesn’t need a gun to hunt, because she can throw a bullet through an adult bull elk.

Sarah Palin wants to be President but is too kind to cut in front of John McCain, so now we get her for 16 yrs!

Sarah Palin is the reason compasses point North.

Death once had a near-Sarah Palin experience.

Sarah Palin can divide by zero.

They just get better, have a look.

It Takes a Rothschild To Tell the Democrats They Have Become Elitist and Left the Folks Behind

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

As someone who believes that America needs two American political parties, I was gratified and happy to see this column from LYNN FORESTER DE ROTHSCHILD explaining to Obama and the Democrats how they have gone wrong. Rothschild used to work for the late Senator Moynihan. I have been a fan of much of Senator Moynihan’s work in spite of my own political differences with him. I am amazed and pleased with the clarity of mind and insite displayed by Rothschild in her column. After seeing Rothschild’s example of someone who truly “gets it” I am confident that Rothschild is someone who I could call friend.

Read on:

While Obama supporters attempt to dismiss the charges about their candidate’s perceived hauteur, they confuse privilege and elitism. Elitism is a state of mind, a view of the world that cannot be measured simply by one’s net worth, position or number of houses. Throughout American history, there have been extremely wealthy figures who have devoted themselves to genuinely nonelitist principles. (Franklin Delano Roosevelt is probably the best-known example.) At the same time, many from modest backgrounds, like Harry Truman’s foil, Thomas Dewey, personified elitism.

I’m a longtime Democrat. I worked for Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan and supported Sen. Hillary Clinton in her presidential campaign. But I must face the uncomfortable truth that liberal elitism has been a weakness of the Democratic Party for more than half a century. In 1952 and 1956, for example, Adlai Stevenson emerged as the presidential candidate of the party’s “new politics” wing. But while Stevenson’s stylish, articulate, high-brow manner thrilled the nation’s intellectuals, he could never connect with large numbers of working-class Democrats who found him aloof and aristocratic.

The “new politics” Democrats have found their new, improved Stevenson in Mr. Obama. In spite of his lofty liberal rhetoric, Mr. Obama is not connecting to millions of middle- and working-class voters, as well as women voters of all classes. Not only is his legislative record scant on issues that make a difference in their lives, but his current campaign is based mainly on an assumption of his transcendence.

Despite Mr. Obama’s assertions that his campaign is about “you,” much of his campaign is, in fact, all about him. In the months since the primaries ended, his creation and display of a mock presidential seal with his name on it, his speech at a mass rally at the Prussian Victory Column in Berlin, and his insistence on delivering his acceptance speech in front of fabricated Greek columns in a stadium holding 80,000 chanting supporters have crossed the thin line that separates galvanizing voters and plain old demagoguery.

UPDATE – Rothschild leaves the Democratic National Committee. May endorse McCain. I just read her column again. Her ability to express a nuanced point of view in such few words is really most artful. Rothschild only says it in the narrative and not in text, but elitists often engage in another trait, foolishness. – Hillbuzz endorsed McCain.

Her bio from Forbes:

Lady de Rothschild is Founder and Chief Executive of E L Rothschild LLC, a private company, since June 2002. From 1990 to 2002, Lady de Rothschild was President and Chief Executive Officer of FirstMark Holdings, Inc., which owned and managed various telecommunications companies. She was Executive Vice President for Development at Metromedia Telecommunications, Inc. from 1984 to 1989. She began her career in 1980 as an associate at the law firm of Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett LLP, where she practiced corporate law. Lady de Rothschild is a director of The Economist Newspaper Limited (member of the Audit Committee). She is also a member of the U.N. Advisory Committee on Inclusive Financial Services and a trustee of the American Fund for the Tate Gallery, the Outward Bound Trust (UK), and the Alfred Herrhausen Society for International Dialogue (Deutsche Bank). Lady de Rothschild is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Foreign Policy Association, and she served as a member of the National Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee and as the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board under President Clinton.

Wendy Doniger, Far Left Professor at University of Chicago, Spreading Lies About Palin that have been Debunked for Days…

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

UPDATE – Doniger’s piece was posted at the Washington Post in September of 2008 and STILL no correction or apology has been posted as of March 6, 2010.

…And of course she writes for Newsweek and the Washington Post who have been the two worst offenders when it comes to publishing these lies.

We have almost the whole list of debunked lies, that Palin tries to enforce her religion on others, that she is a book banner and the rest of it. All debunked with information easily available and the good professor seems to have decided that the mass emails she was getting from her left wing co-workers had to be true and why? Because they went along with the assumptions that she has about anyone who isn’t a leftist.

Take some advice from s simple undergrad professor, the assumptions one should always challenge first are your own. As many of the readers of the IUSB Vision are well aware, I am writing a book about declining academic culture and I would like to congratulate Professor Doniger because she just earned an entry in it.

Here is an excerpt of Professor Doniger’s lies and half truths:

Sarah Palin’s views make me fear that the Republican party has finally lost its mind.

I’d love to know precisely how the Good Lord conveyed to her so clearly his intention to destroy the environment (global warming, she thinks, is not the work of human hands, so it must be the work of You Know Who), the lives of untold thousands of soldiers and innocent bystanders (He is apparently rooting for this, too, she says), and, incidentally, a lot of polar bears and wolves, not to mention all the people who will be shot with the guns that she thinks other people ought to have. An even wider and more sinister will to impose her religious views on other people surfaced in her determination to legislate against abortion even in cases of rape and in her attempts to ban books, including books on evolution, and to fire the librarian who stood against her.

The librarian was just one of many employees who Palin fired that served at the pleasure of the mayor. That librarian actively campaigned against Palin by the way so Palin did what any new Mayor often does, she fires anyone who may offer bureaucratic resistance. The librarian gave Mayor Palin her word that she would have her support and Palin rehired the librarian, but this has been covered a million times already.

It is interesting to see what Professor Doniger thinks about citizens who own guns. I really don’t like name calling, but I need to be blunt here, If this idiot Doniger would take five minutes to get out of the classroom and try to see passed a world that ends at the tip of her own elitist nose, she would realize that for many Alaskans having guns is a matter of survival, often for either sustenance hunting and protection from four-legged predators. Joggers in Alaska often have to carry weapons to protect themselves from wolf packs, even near a large city like Anchorage.

Unfortunately, there are a great many professors who think just like this, which is why I encourage all parents to prepare their children to resist the neo-marxist propaganda rammed down their throats at college.

I am not the only one that is pointing out Professor Doniger’s foolishness. People from her own community are ravaging her in the comments section:

1) This article is full of the standard half-truths about Palin (see

2) It’s sad but not surprising that the writer teaches at a “school of divinity”.

John Lewandowski:

Why are you LYING about Sarah Palin, “professor”?

Sarah Palin TRIPLED, not slashed, funding for teen mothers:

The list of books which Sarah Palin supposedly tried to ban? It’s FAKE:

Sarah Palin is the REAL woman – you’re the fraud.

Valerie Alexander:

Oh, good grief.

Get facts first, write article later. The order of those actions IS important.

You are simply another of the haters that, in your case, is hiding behind your credentialed “ethos” as you hurl your invective at Mrs. Palin.

You are simply another establishment feminist, to use the recent words of Camille Paglia, who can’t come to grips with the reality of a non-liberal feminist. And you choose to beat her over the head using your “absolute moral authority” as a professor of religious history;…

Well I have a news flash for you madam. The kernel of true feminism lies in the personal freedom and individuality we ALL have under the US constitution. Where it definitely DOES NOT lie is in ideological lockstep to any one political outlook, party, or single issue!

That’s a very sad and pathetic article you’ve written there. It shows a lack of serious knowledge about religion and makes one wonder exactly what you are teaching. Most likely postmodern moral relativism which is the religion of the left.

Good lord, you hypocritical harpie.

“Outing her daughter?” You mean the daughter that your fellow leftists had just accused of bearing Palin’s five-month old?

“Her pretense that she’s a woman?” Of course she doesn’t speak for women! Isn’t it obvious that you, Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem are the only ones allowed to do that? News flash: you’re not allowed to revoke someone’s gender because her (yes, her!) politics don’t coincide with yours.

This obnoxious, partisan hack is a professor at University of Chicago?

I’m guessing Chicago’s excellent academic reputation is due more to its economics department. Whoever hired and tenured this “pretense of a woman” should be ashamed.

Beware! Wendy Doniger is a Ward Churchill-level fraud. She’s anti-religion, which is why she’s a Divinity professor at a liberal university.

Posted by iusbvision on September 11, 2008

I am so glad Ed Morrissey at dug these up for me so I wouldnt have to spend two hours tomarrow doing it. So let’s go back in time to the primary when it was Hillary v. Obama.

Obama gives Hillary the bird shortly after Hillary cleaned his clock in the Philidelphia debate:

  • “She’s got the kitchen sink flying, and the china flying, and the, you know, the buffet is coming at me.” – April 20
  • “You challenge the status quo and suddenly the claws come out.” – February, Tulane University
  • “I understand that Senator Clinton, periodically when she’s feeling down, launches attacks as a way of trying to boost her appeal.” – February

That wasn’t all of it but it get’s the point accross, as if Hillary supporters needed a reminder.

Rebecca Johnson of the UK Telegraph who actually interviewed Palin last year has this to say:

My liberal friends were outraged when rumours about Barack Obama attending a Madrassa or being a Muslim surfaced on the internet, but all week they have been gleefully trading emails of Sarah Palin distortions.

There was the doctored picture of her carrying a rifle, wearing a stars-and-stripes bikini while a man in the background drank Schlitz beer. Or dopey quotes about God, creationism and moose, all of which have been subsequently debunked.

There have also been snide remarks about Wal-Mart and K-Mart, as if there is something shameful about trying to save money. …

Palin isn’t shooting moose for sport; her family eats what she kills. If she shops at Wal-Mart for diapers, the vast majority of American women can relate.

It’s no wonder the latest Washington Post poll shows an unprecedented shift of 20 points among white women towards McCain since he announced Palin as his running mate. Times are hard and getting harder.
