One of the smartest new media ad campaigns ever.

These are music videos that promote the Norwegian television entertainment program “Golden Times“. The program runs on the TV channel, TV2 in Norway.

The video’s feature celebrities from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. While our friend AllahPundit didn’t like this at all, with respect, he is simply too young to appreciate what was done here. For those of MY generation it warmed my heart to see these “old friends” once again. They are targeting an audience that is aged 37 and higher, and for that purpose these ads are beyond brilliant.

Communications students:  this is new media and demographic targeting with communications at its very finest. My hat is off to those who conceived the idea.
