HOWARD DEAN: GOVERNMENT SHOULD PICK GUESTS ON FOX & MSNBC BECAUSE IGNORANT AMERICANS DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON

This is typical of the neo-stalinist view of the First Amendment among the far left, including many college administrators and leftist academics. I find it amusing that Dean wants to lecture the Tea Party on the 14th and 17th Amendment because I find it highly unlikely that Dean could hold is own in a debate on those amendments against most prominent bloggers who supported some Tea Party candidates. Where was the left’s support of the 14th Amendment (which incorporates the Bill of Rights to the states) when the Supreme Court quite correctly incorporated the Second Amendment in Heller and reaffirmed it in the Chicago case? The problem with the left is that they quite deliberately and obviously misinterpret the 14th to justify their entire agenda of tossing limited government out the window, much like they use the Courts revised interpretation of the commerce clause when it was under duress from FDR’s court packing threat.
Howard Dean’s formerly on fire presidential campaign was sabotaged by Dean himself because he keeps marginalizing himself with statements much like the one’s he makes here.
