Lee Doren: Why I changed from a leftist to a conservative after college.

Posted by iusbvision on February 27, 2011

Lee worked for a leftist environmental lobby. He realized that he was helping to prevent poor people in Africa and other places from getting inexpensive energy. As a result people had to burn what the could find to cook. The result was lung cancers, deaths, bad medical treatment and mass suffering. How would your grandmother live with no electricity or electric heat?

Watch the rest here.

Most of society had the same epiphany, once they began to work for a living and raise children. The utopians of academia may be paid for temporizing and theorizing, and producing bupkus, but real people are forced to confront reality and add value. Once those academians rise to the policy making level and reward others for doing the same is when the whole system goes out of kilter, and that has happened now in 1913, 1933, 1976, and 2006.

May I make a suggestion to the site? The banner and the graphics and colors are not conveying to me, a first time lurker, what your political leanings are. I really thought you were a commie site (there are many) until I started reading on down. Perhaps you like it that way? I still do
not frankly know what IUSB means and cant find the button to your mission statement.

“Lee worked for a leftist environmental lobby. He realized that he was helping to prevent poor people in Africa and other places from getting inexpensive energy. ” You made something up. Good for you!

[Spoken like someone who has never studied the situation in Africa, or Lee Doren. This is a subject we have written about several times; these UN affiliated orgs work to prevent Africa from industrializing in the name of “the environment” and as a result many do not have electricity, have to burn dung in their homes to cook with etc. Their quality of life and health are greatly affected. Your reaction seems typical of the far left as the unspoken narrative is “they are just Africans…”.

You have your iPod so what do you care.

By the way, Don Surber is a conservative blogger and having just traced your IP, I know that you are not him. It is common for leftist trolls to post their hate anonymously, but to take the name of someone else in an effort to cause trouble, well we have seen that before too. Your entire IP range has just been banned. Have a nice day. – Editor]
