[Editor’s Note – The fact that the UK papers cover American politics and some other domestic news better than our own elite media really is indicative of just how far ethical and professional standards have fallen in the United States.]

Up to two million march to US Capitol to protest against Obama’s spending in ‘tea-party’ demonstration

Last updated at 9:39 PM on 12th September 2009Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today, carrying signs with slogans such as “Obamacare makes me sick” as they protested the president’s health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.
The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.
People were chanting “enough, enough” and “We the People.” Others yelled “You lie, you lie!” and “Pelosi has to go,” referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

Hotair.com is also reporting that those who claim to have a monopoly of love and tolerance had phoned in several bomb threats against the protest.

Greetings!
I was there! I was in that huge crowd! It was the most amazing event I have ever attended. A gentleman periodically passed through our area with a Park Police crowd count as it changed. The last number I heard was 2.5 million Patriots in attendance! One Park Police remarked that this was the largest and most respectible crowd he had ever witnessed. We are good people who want this Big Government takeover STOPPED! We aren’t going to take it anymore! We are tired of the erosion of our freedoms. It is sad the progressive Obama-media has chosen to ignore us. Thank you for a more accurate reporting of this historic event.
I give thanks to all of the everyday citizens who helped make this possible. This is truly a grassroots movement. I am grateful for Glenn Beck’s guidiance through this most difficult time in our history. He is much LOVED and respected! He stays focused while he and his family are under physical threat from the left.
Of course Obama left town. I’m guessing he can claim it never happened if he doesn’t actually see us.

[And the NY Times said a few thousand, the DC police would not give numbers Saturday when they almost always do…. hmmm how curious? We have the video of a packed DC Mall and spill over into the streets.
The University of Illinois estimated the crowd at 1.7 million and the National Park Service said it was the largest DC event in history. Nice try…..

The elite media gave even the smallest anti-war protests tons of coverage and we posted the youtube video on this very site.
